Biotechnology Exhibit
The Biotechnology exhibit highlights the Ag & Technology area and is an entertaining, hands-on exploration of the many bio-technological processes humans have used through the ages to feed, clothe, and care for themselves -- from the simplest agricultural techniques of the Stone Age to the complexities of DNA. With an engaging style and clever tone, the Biotechnology exhibit will de-mystify much of the intricate science, in a three party story, to show how today’s advanced methods of biotechnology are merely the latest tools in a 4,000 year old scientist’s toolbox.
A timeline highlighting the story of biotechnology delineating the talented people and landmark events in history that made such discoveries possible.

A Hybrid is Not Just a Car are interactive kiosks located in front of the timeline allowing visitors to investigate biotechnology as if attempting to unravel a CSI-like mystery.
The Biotech Lab is where visitors create their own much loved, popular dishes through chemistry and biotechnology.

Ag Mission Control Exhibit
Ag Mission Control is a series of displays that help demonstrate how futuristic technologies are being used everyday in agriculture. A GPS satellite link glows with an infra-red view of the earth below while a row of large screen monitors display how robot tractors, computer tracking of crops to market, and feed mixing by computer are utilized by today’s farmers.

Great Wall of Ag Efficiency Exhibit
The Great Wall of Ag Efficiency is an interactive display that showcases some of the amazing devices that are used to process crops quickly and efficiently. The wall houses an intricate, fast-moving machine that moves small plastic balls of different size and color from one specialized station to another while visitors race against the machine to sort the colored fruit.
Transportation Cafe
Step into the ‘50s style diner and perch upon a stool in the Transportation Cafe. Place your order by pushing a button on the Juke Box Menu. Watch in amazement as the cook behind the counter takes you to the fields where the ingredients originate. See how they are harvested and transported to the processors and how the processors get them to market and then, finally to the lunch counter in front of you by truck, trailer and rail.
