Living Soil Exhibit
Living Soil is a walk through experience that allows visitors to “shrink” and go under the ground to see some of the many microscopic organisms that make up healthy soil. The sculptural interior looks like a tunnel with magnification frames all around that allow kids to see things much smaller than themselves and realize that soil is alive and has its own environment.

Conservation Kiosks
Agriculture depends on a healthy environment. Conservation kiosks throughout the Ag Science Center will share how agriculturalists serve as stewards of the land working to clean the air, conserve water and reduce the use of chemicals.

Rain Box Exhibit
The Rain Box shows how rain water works its way through soil and rock to form underground aquifers. Children initiate the process themselves by pumping “groundwater” up through the exhibit to create “rain”, which then flows through its natural cycle before their eyes.

Nitrogen Cycle Exhibit
When kids hop onto the Nitrogen Cycle, the stationary bicycle is interactively hooked up to a giant tomato plant that allows visitors to see how plants take advantage of water. This display helps reinforce the cycle of water from the rain on through its recycling process.

Soil Detective Exhibit
Soil Detective invites the visitor to use scientific clues to solve every day farming challenges.

Good Bugs Bad Bugs Exhibit
Flanked by a climbable marquee of giant bugs, Good Bugs Bad Bugs provides holographic images of creepies and crawlies and an understanding of how they impact the Ag industry and the state’s economy more than their size might suggest.
